Another Duradek Milestone in the Marketing Department

People are an important part of Duradek’s success in getting its superior waterproofing products onto the decks and flat roofs of homes throughout North America. A huge part of that is our network of professional installers, but we also have a very dedicated team working hard at our head office locations.

Duradek is very proud to be celebrating yet another Staff Milestone – 5 years ago, Duradek was lucky to have Kim Smallwood join our team as Marketing & Sales Assistant. Kim came to Duradek with a vast array of knowledge and skills with strategy and execution of multi-channel marketing programs that has since propelled her from Assistant to Marketing Coordinator.

Kim has her nose to the grindstone all day, working hard to raise brand awareness, website ranking, and overall knowledge of Duradek, Durarail and Tiledek with the ultimate goal of putting quality leads into the hands of our customers.

Kim has been the lead on creating, writing, designing and executing the new Duradek website (Launching on this post date, Monday, January 23rd).

Always making herself available to help our customers with any marketing question, idea, brainstorm through a concept, create an ad or help implement a new program, Kim has become an integral part of the Duradek family! With much appreciation and thanks – today we celebrate Kim!

When asked about her favourite part of her job, Kim said, “I love working with our distributors and dealers on the campaigns they launch in their individual regions. They’ve got so many great ideas and I am proud to be a part of helping them implement them and learning from their hands-on experience. Talking with our dealers shows how much they truly care about their customers and at the end of the day, it’s all about making people happy.”

She also wanted to extend a huge thank-you to all of the dealers that send in their project images and stories to help her to spread the word about our brand by sharing stories about happy homeowners enjoying their Duradek decks.

The last five years out of our 43-year history flew by in a flash for Kim and she is looking forward to the future of marketing with Duradek. Particularly with helping our Dealer network with all of their potential campaigns to help them be found in their communities.
