Project: Roof Deck at Chillon Reception Center, Spanish Fork, UT

PROBLEM

The Chillon Reception Center is a popular location for weddings and large events. They wanted to build a deck that would also act as a roof to the building entrance.

The roof deck would be a high traffic area, and one of the first impressions people would have of the building.

Having an easy-to-clean surface was imperative with the number of guests in formal attire. Duradek can be easily cleaned and ready for guests in no time.

DURADEK SOLUTION

Duradek Ultra Cork Natural was used to provide low maintenance waterproofing for this newly built deck. The color complimented the existing brick nicely, which was important since this area was often used by newlyweds and their wedding party for photographs. This was a key factor in the owner’s decision when choosing Duradek Ultra Cork.
